Osaka City University (OCU)?ranked number 7 in the Diamond Weekly magazine’s employability ranking of Japanese universities (12 October 2013 issue). Among the public universities OCU ranked number 1.

OCU scored especially high on the number of students becoming national and regional government officials as well as on the number of students employed by stock-listed companies (including their group companies).
